Services
SRS Maritime Security offers protection for organisation´s staff and assets such as commercial vessels, super yachts, oil and gas industry, energy sector and port facilities. SRS services to ship owners and port operators covers a range of security services and training in order to deal with threats and attacks on maritime assets.
The escorts we provide are conducted professionally and in accordance with IMO, flag and littoral state regulations and other legal requirements.

Area of Operations
SRS operations covers the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, Mozambique Channel and West Coast of Africa.

SRS team
Our management team is Scandinavian and our consultants are mainly recruited from UK and Scandinavian special military or police units. All our personnel are highly trained, vetted and work closely with ship owners and masters to ensure compliance with IMO (International Maritime Organization), flag and littoral state regulations, legal requirements and company policies and safety procedures.
Our recruitment process is structured and our vetting is one of the strictest in the industry. All our consultants have seaman´s discharge book, seaman´s card and a minimum of 6 month experience of antipiracy work or related activities.
We train our consultants in MSO and STCW 95 standards in close cooperation with international maritime training centres.
Procedures
We work exclusively according to BMP 4 (Best Management Practice) as recommended by IMO. We provide our clients with experienced K & R (Kidnap and Ransom) negotiators and a daily intelligence updates covering specific areas and vessel transits. Information is gathered from well-known sources such as: Risk Intelligence, MSCHOA (Maritime Security Centre Horn of Africa) and Oceanus Live.
Our 24/7 Crisis Management and Operational Centre is at your service whenever you require it.
